How to Use the Stopping Power in Call of Duty?

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in 2009. When creating a class, players select perks -- abilities that augment your character. Stopping Power, permanently unlocked at level four, increases the damage of each bullet against a human opponent. Stopping Power does not work against helicopters or other aircraft. When selected as a perk, Stopping Power automatically activates each time a bullet is fired. However, for it to take effect, the Stopping Power perk must be added to your character.

     Select "Multiplayer" from the main menu.

     Select "Create A Class."

   • 3

     Select "Perk 2."

     Select "Stopping Power."

   • 5

     Exit the menu to save all changes.

   • 6

     Press the "Fire" button in a multiplayer match to fire your weapon and use Stopping Power. Once selected as a perk, Stopping Power automatically activates each time a weapon fires.
