How to Create a Halo Guy

"Halo Reach" gives players more control over the appearance of their unique Spartan and Elite soldiers than ever before. The Armory feature completely customizes the colors, emblem and armor pieces of the futuristic warriors from the "Halo" universe. While many pieces of armor are usable from the start, others such as the EVA helmet and UA/ODST chest armor, require additional credits before they can be placed on a player's "Halo Reach" avatar. One of the great things about "Halo Reach" is the amount of personality your custom character brings to the battlefield.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch "Halo Reach."

    • 2

Press the "Start" button while on the main menu to enter the options menu.

    • 3

Select The Armory option to begin creation of a Spartan.

    • 4

Choose the helmet, left and right shoulders, chest, wrist, utility, visor color, knee guards, armor effect and firefight voice for the character. There is a huge supply of options available and more unlock as credits are earned for playing well or completing challenges.

    • 5

Create an emblem to represent the Spartan. Pick a foreground logo and background shape. Examples include the Elephant paired with Blunt Diamond 2 and Chaos set on the Horizontal Gradient.

    • 6

Select primary and secondary armor colors for the Spartan. The primary color will cover the majority of the armor. Pick out colors for the emblem logo and background to set your Spartan apart from allies and opponents alike.

    • 7

Go into the Player option from the menu and select Elite Armor. Look through the armor sets and select your favorite for use when the game requires that you play as an Elite. Examples of Elite armor include Minor and Ultra.
