How to Find the WPA2 Key for Xbox

If your home computer network is protected with a WPA2 key code, the only way to get a Xbox 360 onto the network is to provide the console with the code. When you originally set up a network it is recommended that you write down the WPA2 key and keep it in a safe place for just such an occasion. In the event that you didn't, you can still find the code using any other computer on the network.

      Turn on any computer connected to the network that you want to connect your Xbox 360 to.

      Choose "Manage Wireless Networks." Find the name of the correct WPA2 network. Right-click the name and click "Properties." Select the "Security" button at the top of the window and check the "Show Characters" option. The exact WPA2 key of the network will be displayed in the box on screen.
