"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is a first-person war shooter game released for multiple platforms in late 2009. To commemorate the game for players who truly enjoyed it and the rest of the "Call of Duty" series, Activision released numerous virtual clothing items and some props for players with an Xbox 360 avatar. The two props available for sale as of May 2011 are the riot shield and the remote-controlled UAV, both of which cost 240 Microsoft Points, or $3.

Sign in to your Xbox LIVE account on your Xbox 360.

Navigate up to your avatar within the "My Xbox" menu. Press "A."

Select "Customize Avatar." Wait for a new menu to load.

Select "Marketplace," followed by "Game Style" and "Modern Warfare 2."

Select the riot shield or the UAV, both of which are on the second page. Select "Download Now" when prompted.
