How to Bet on the Varren Fights in Mass Effect 2

"Mass Effect 2" is a game for the PC, the PS3 and the Xbox 360. BioWare developed it, and Electronic Arts published it in January 2010. Players take on the role of Shepard, completing quests and missions in an attempt to save humanity from a mysterious threat. You gain party members who also ask you to complete missions for them. Grunt wants you to go to his planet so that you can complete missions there. While there, you can make bets on fights between dog-like animals known as Varren.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to Tuchanka, the Krogan home world. You travel here as part of the loyalty quest for Grunt, a member of your party. Land on the planet.

  Add Grunt to your party when the party selection screen appears. Add anyone else you like to round out your party.

  Approach Ratch, a Krogan vendor. You will see Urz standing near him; Urz is a Varren with whom you can interact. Purchase some Pyjak meat from Ratch. Approach Urz and interact with him. Feed him the meat. Doing this causes Urz to follow you around this area, and it also lets you bet on the "Varren" fights.

  Walk over to the Varren fighting pit. The pit is rectangular, with a computer console at one corner and a Krogan standing at the other.

  Interact with the computer console. This brings up a betting menu.

  Make a bet. Bet on one of two random Varren, or bet for or against Urz. Click the Varren on which you wish to make a bet. Click "Bet 500."
