How to Get the Armor in the Case on Dragon Age

The Blood Dragon armor for "Dragon Age: Origins" is a free DLC (downloadable content) item that is available for players that purchased a new copy of the game. It is massive-sized armor with attribute bonuses that are desirable for warriors. Once the download code, located in the game case, has been redeemed, the Blood Dragon Plate, the armor set's chest piece, automatically appears in the player's inventory. The remaining pieces must be purchased.

  Press the "Xbox" button on the controller to open the Xbox Guide menu.

  Press "Redeem Code" under the "Marketplace" tab in the Guide menu.

  Enter the code located on the DLC insert inside the "Dragon Age: Origins" case. The file for the armor is downloaded after the code is redeemed.

  Restart "Dragon Age: Origins." The game checks to see what DLC has been installed when first started, which is why it needs to be restarted to detect the Blood Dragon armor.

  Start a new game or load an old character.

  Go to the party camp on the world map. You cannot enter the party camp until after you have gone through Lothering. This is an unavoidable area that is part of the linear quest progression at the beginning of the game. It is impossible to miss it.
