Changing Your Gamer Tag for Xbox LIVE

When first setting up your Xbox LIVE account, your must choose a unique gamertag to represent your online identity. Many reasons exist for eventually wanting to change your gamertag. For instance, you might have joined an online group (a "clan") that requires you to place the clan's abbreviation in front of your name --- or perhaps you just do not like your original gamertag anymore. Whatever the case, Microsoft includes built-in controls on your console that you can use to alter your gamertag.
