How to Get 100 Spiders in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is the fifth game in Nintendo's "Legend of Zelda" series. It was released in November 1998 for the Nintendo 64. During the game, the main character, Link, encounters both regular and large gold spiders known as Skulltulas. Killing regular Skulltulas earns Link rupees, the currency of Hyrule; killing Gold Skulltulas earns him gold tokens. With 100 tokens, he can help each member of a cursed family in Kakariko Village return to human form. Link can find Gold Skulltulas throughout the game, but there's a hidden location where he can get all 100.

Instructions

  Arrive at Hyrule Castle and follow the fence around the moat until you reach the tree in the corner of the fence.

  Play the "Song of Storms" on the Fairy Ocarina or the Ocarina of Time by pressing "A," "Down-C," "Up-C," "A," "Down-C," "Up-C" on the game controller. A hole will open in the ground. Jump into it.

  Turn to the left and go to the next black wall as the scene in the pit appears. Use a bomb to blow up the wall. You will see a Silver Skulltula and a Gold Skulltula.

  Turn around and move very close to the portal but don't get on it. Face the wall with the Skulltulas.

  Activate the boomerang or hookshot. Hit the Gold Skulltula. A gold token will replace the Skulltula.

  Z-target the gold token and hold the button down until you are ready to release the boomerang or hookshot. Keep your other finger on the joystick and prepare to jump. Release the button to send the weapon to the gold token and make sure it hits the token, then jump into the portal before the weapon returns to you. You will appear above ground by the tree. Check your inventory. You should have acquired one gold token.

  Return to the hidden room and repeat the process to collect as many Gold Skulltula tokens as you need.
