How to Transfer Music From a PC to a 360

The Xbox 360 is a video game console produced by the Microsoft company. Using this console, you can play games and watch DVDs in high-definition through your television. You can also watch videos and music downloaded to the device's hard drive. You can transfer files such as music from your PC to your Xbox 360. In order to complete this task, you must connect an external storage device to your computer, transfer the files to it, then move the files from that device to your Xbox.

      Connect the external storage device to an open USB port on your computer. Open "My Computer" and the storage device will appear in the window. Double-click the storage device to view its contents. Drag the music files you want to transfer to the 360 into any folder on the storage device.

      Disconnect the storage device from your computer when all of the files you want to transfer are moved. Connect the storage device to one of the open USB ports on the front of the Xbox 360. Once the device is connected, press the "Power" button to boot up the console.

      Sign in to your Xbox profile once the system starts up. Use the controller to move to the "My Xbox" menu option; move over to the "System Settings" option and press the "A" button. In this menu, navigate to the "Memory" menu option and press the "A" button to enter.

      Navigate to "External Storage Device" on the menu of available memory and press the "A" button. A list of types of files to transfer will appear on the screen. Select "Music" from the menu and press the "A" button once again.

      Press the "Y" button on the controller to transfer content. Select the "Hard Drive" from the menu of available locations. On the final screen, press the "Start" button and all of the music on your external device will be moved to the hard drive of your Xbox.
