How to Unlock Haunted Pilot

The store in "Halo Reach" has a variety of helmets and other pieces of armor to customize your Spartan's appearance during multiplayer matches online or offline. One of the most-coveted helmets is that of the "Haunted Pilot." This is a classic pilot's helmet with a bit of a twist. Instead of looking new and pristine, like the majority of the helmets in "Halo Reach," this one is battered with a large piece of the visor missing to reveal a dessicated skull.

Instructions

  Play through any type of multiplayer match until you accumulate approximately 1,300,000 credits to use in the "Halo Reach" store. This is quite a large number of credits, but you do not have to get them all at once. Take breaks between long stretches of playing. You get additional credits for playing other modes in the game, too.

  Go to the store in "Halo Reach" when you have the requisite number of credits. This number is not exact, particularly if you've already purchased any of the helmets in the store's inventory. Look through the store until you find the Helmets section.

  Use the credits you earned to purchase all the helmets the store has in stock. When you return to the store, the Haunted Pilot helmet will appear in the Helmets section.
