How to Unlock the Spartan Officer Achievement

When you perform certain notable tasks in video games designed for the Xbox 360 you are rewarded by unlocking achievements. Sometimes an achievement is simply an icon indicating your accomplishment, while other times it comes with benefits and point bonuses. The "Spartan Officer" achievement in particular is present in the "Halo 3" video game for Microsoft's console. It is unlocked in the game's multi-player mode and is not available in the offline game.

Instructions

  Insert your "Halo 3" game disc in your Xbox 360 and allow the game to load to its menu.

  Select the online multi-player option via Xbox Live from the "Halo 3" menu. Sign into your Xbox Live account (if prompted).

  Select the playlist you want to use during your online game from the menu.

  Play "Halo 3" online matches until you earn the rank of Lieutenant. You will also need to play until you earn 50 experience points for the playlist you have selected. Experience points are earned and ranks are increased by successfully killing enemies and winning matches. Once these two criteria are met you will automatically unlock the "Spartan Officer" achievement.
