How to Play Darts on GTA4

Among the mini-game options "Grand Theft Auto 4" for Xbox 360, players can participate in a game of darts between missions at the Steinway Beer Garden in Dukes or at the Lucky Winkles Bar in Algonquin. Like real-life darts, each section is numbered on the outer rim signifying the base points. Hitting the larger sections scores you the base points of that section, while hitting the skinny outer rim nets you double points and the inner rim triple. The center of the bull's-eye is worth 50 points, while the outer section of the bull's is worth 25. The player who reaches 301 points first wins.

Instructions

  Press the "Select" button on your controller and locate either the Steinway Beer Garden in Dukes, or the Lucky Winkles Bar in Algonquin on the map. Travel to the bar following the map. Once inside, approach the darts board and press the left trigger button, or "LT," to begin a game. A crosshairs symbol will then appear over the darts board.

  Aim the crosshairs by using the controller's left analog stick toward your desired shot. Once there, you will notice that the crosshairs moves involuntarily near the spot. This is to simulate the slight movements of a real human arm. Press and hold the right trigger button represented by "RT" to stabilize your shot.

  Tap the "A" button on the controller to shoot the dart. Your score will then be updated to the left side of the darts board based on your shot.

  Alternate with an opponent until a player reaches a score of 301. When the game is over, press either the left trigger button to quit or the "A" button for a rematch.
