Battling General Knox Alone
In the beginning of the battle, it is just you and General Knoxx fighting one another. Get used to the battle arena and find good cover spots as you will spend a lot of this battle looking for places to hide from enemy fire. Run around the arena, dodging Knoxx's attacks and keeping him at a distance. Go for headshots when you can, but don't use up too much ammo as you will have to fight Devastators and Lance Medics.
Battling General Knox and Devastators
After General Knoxx has lost about 15 percent of his health, two Devastators will enter the arena and join the battle. Take out the Devastators using corrosive fire. You will not be able to effectively fight General Knoxx until the two Devastators are defeated. When General Knoxx has 15 percent of his health remaining, a Badass Devastator will join the fight. Unlike the other Devastators, you do not have to kill the Badass Devastator. Shoot it enough to cause it to go down, but not out, and continue shooting at General Knoxx.
Battling General Knoxx and Lance Medics
Four Lance Medics come out to heal General Knoxx after he has lost 50 percent of his health. The Lance Medics are a real pain as they can cause the fight with General Knoxx to drag out longer, depleting your health and ammo. Take out the Lance Medics as quickly as you can by shooting them with a submachine gun or any other weapon with a rapid rate of fire.
General Knoxx's Weak Points
General Knoxx's weakest spot is his head. While he will take damage to the body, he will take more damage to his head. Critical attacks to the head of General Knoxx will also stun him, giving you more time to unload on him without having to worry about taking damage. Weapon-wise, a submachine gun or a scoped rifle/pistol work the best. You should also equip a shock-resistant shield when fighting General Knoxx one-on-one.
