How to Get the Spiked Helmet on Halo 3

Getting All Skulls

  Play "Sierra 117." Two skulls can be found on the level. The first skull can be found before the first Phantom drop. Look at the cliff's edge for a rock protrusion which the skull will be on. The second skull appears before you rescue Sgt. Johnson. Look for the bridge. It has two side-platforms. Go on the side with the train depot, and walk around to the big building to get the skull.

  Enter the "Crow's Nest" level. Two skulls can be found on the level. In the starting room, there is a pipe attached to the ceiling. Jump on it using boxes and the red girder. The second skull is found after defending the hangar. Find a hallway with sewer tunnels where flying enemies go back and forth. Walk over the end of the hatch, and find the skull by nudging into a lower room using the control stick.

  Load the "Tsavo Highway" level. Look for the large oil pipeline. Jump on it, and run along it until the canyon drop. Find a concrete support. Jump down, and follow it to the end. You will see a large boulder with the skull sitting on top. Jump to get it.

  Start the level "The Storm." At the first beach, ignore the Wraiths and find a small silo. The skull is on top. Pile vehicles or a deployable cover item to jump on top. If either of the Wraiths are destroyed the skull will not appear.

  Select the "Floodgate" mission. As you walk into the burning city, a lone member of the Flood will jump from one roof to another. Shoot him, and the skull will fall to the ground.

  Find two skulls in "The Ark" level. The first one can be found after Sgt. Johnson orders you to find the map room. Follow him to a giant walkway. Go underneath and jump on the rock, then onto the support beam by the antenna. The second one is found in the map room. Use the gravity lift in the room with the purple energy column to reach it.

  Play the "Covenant" level, which has two skulls. The first is found after destroying the anti-air device. Fly a Hornet to the second anti-air device. The skull is sitting on the tip of the building. The second is found in the Ark Citadel building. Inside are seven rings in two rooms. Go as far as the Prophet of Truth, and then go through the rings in this order: 4, 6, 5, 4, 5, 3 and then 4. The skull will appear by the end bridge.

  Open the "Cortana" mission. Go to the room where Cortana talks to you about playing games. Search for a purple computer console. Jump onto that, then onto the nearby platforms until you find the tentacle the skull is sitting on.

  Walk along the right wall in the cave at the start of the "Halo" mission. There will be a dead-end where the skull is sitting.

  Go to the settings for your armor in the main menu. Equip the Hayabusa Helmet. You now have the "spiked" helmet.
