How to Transfer Saved Game Files in Viva Pinata

"Viva Pinata" is a real-time strategy game that allows users to create a garden full of living pinatas. It can often take dozens of hours to complete the game, so gamers are often protective of their saved games and gardens. Information on Xbox 360 hard drives can be quickly exchanged and transferred, as long as you have the proper peripherals to perform the transfer. However, the Gamer Profile will also have to be transferred to play the saved game.

  Purchase an Xbox 360 memory card from a local or online retailer (see Resources). The 64 MB memory card will provide more than enough space to transfer your game and gamer profile.

  Insert the memory card into the Xbox 360 console that has the saved game of "Viva Pinata."

  Click the "Settings" tab from the "My Xbox" tab.

  Click the "Memory" tab from the "Settings" menu. A window will appear asking which device you would like to access.

  Click on the device that has the saved game of "Viva Pinata."

  Click "Games" to display all the saved game information on the device.

  Scroll down and click on "Viva Pinata." All the saved games, regardless of which Gamer Profile they are for, will be displayed.

  Transfer the file by clicking on your saved game and selecting "Transfer" from the list of options that appears.

  Select the inserted memory card to transfer the data to the device.

  Press "B" twice to return to the original selection screen.

  Choose "Gamer Profile." The profiles on the device will be displayed.

  Transfer the saved game's "Gamer Profile" by clicking on the profile and pressing "Transfer." The saved game will now be playable from the new device.
