      Plug the VGA plug of the VGA-to-RCA video adapter into the VGA port of the computer monitor, which is usually the blue port on the back of most computer monitors. The VGA port is the standard 15-pin connection that is supported by all computer monitors.

      Plug the audio/video cable into the back of the Xbox 360 and plug the other side with the yellow composite cable into the composite port of the VGA-to-RCA video adapter.

      Plug the Xbox 360 power cord into an electrical wall outlet and turn the computer monitor on as well as the Xbox 360. The images from the Xbox 360 will display on the monitor. If the images from the Xbox 360 do not display on the monitor, check the connections to make sure they are inserted securely.
