Can I Hook Up an Xbox 360 to a VGA Monitor?

The Xbox 360 games console can be played both in high-definition and in standard definition. If you have a VGA monitor for your computer, you can set it up so that you can play your 360 using the VGA screen. However, you can only do this if you have a VGA-to-AV cable.

Instructions

      Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA connection end of the VGA-to-AV cable.

      Connect the other end of the VGA cable into the VGA slot on the back of the external monitor.

      Connect the AV end of the adapter cable into the back of the Xbox 360 console.

    • 4

      Turn on the monitor and turn on your Xbox 360 to check that the image is correctly displayed.
