  1. How to Talk on Skype with a Wired Controller

      Attach a wired Xbox 360 controller to your computer's USB port. Drivers will automatically be downloaded to the computer and the device will be ready for use.

      Attach or sync your headset to the attached controller. Both headsets, wired or wireless, can be used with the controller.

      Open Skype from the "Start Menu" or Desktop icon.

      Make or receive a call. The headset will automatically be detected, activated and used as your computer's microphone.

      Attach the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows to one of your computer's USB ports. The device will automatically download any necessary drivers.

      Press and hold the "Sync" button on the top of device until the green light flashes. Once it does, it can be paired with another device, such as a wireless controller or headset.

      Sync your wireless controller or headset to the device. The wireless headset can be used without a controller and can be synced by holding the "Power" button on the side of the device. If you are using a wireless controller with a wired headset, attach the headset after the device has synced with the receiver.
