Instructions
Take your opponent to the mat by strikes or a takedown attempt. In most cases, you will land on top of your opponent in full guard position. From this position, you will make the rest of your transitions to achieve full mount. If you take your opponent to the mat and end up in half guard position, you will skip one step in the process.
Rotate your right analog stick from any direction for three-quarters of a full circle to make a major transition. This transition will place you in the half guard position.
Rotate another three-quarters of a circle with your right analog stick from half guard. Your fighter will now move to the side mount position.
Rotate the right analog three-quarters of a circle one more time. From the side control position, a successful major transition attempt will place you in the full mount position.
