How to Find the Necromancer in Divinity 2

"Divinity II: Ego Draconis" has many side quests that reward you with special items and abilities that make boss battles easier. Before you move on to fight Andusias, it is recommended that you complete the Vigor Mortis side quest, which ultimately grants you the Crystal Skull, an item that allows you to summon an undead creature. To start this quest, you must find the Necromancer known as Naberius. Finding the reclusive old Necromancer is somewhat tricky because he lives in a remote location that is easy to overlook.

Instructions

  Travel to the northwestern corner of Broken Valley, away from the main part of the village. Travel until you find two caves -- they are more or less across from each other. The cave to the east is called the Lost Cavern and the one to the west is called the Old Cave.

  Enter the Old Cave. Head east to find a treasure chest. Go just north to a cluster of rooms with chests. The room to the east has a chest and a key to the chest in the northwest room. Collect the items, then head north.

  Turn east until you enter a large room. Naberius is south of this area, standing alone in the room. Approach him and speak with him to get the Vigor Mortis side quest.
