How to Fast-Travel in Red Dead

"Red Dead Redemption" has a vast open landscape to explore, but it can get tedious to see the same terrain over and over again if you're on lengthy quests. A few options exist to travel instantly from location to location more quickly than on horseback. You can either pay a stagecoach to take you to a distant location or you can use the "fast travel" option whenever you set up a campsite.

     Travel to an open area outside of any town, road or gang hideout. Press "Select" to bring up your satchel.

     Click on "Basic Campsite" in the satchel. You will be given the option to save or fast-travel to any location in your current region.

     Select the "Travel" option and the game map will appear. Select the location you would like to instantly travel to on the map to go to that location.
