Experiment with the plants and pinata animals you encounter on Pinata Island to gain experience. Your level of experience is noted by the flower clock located in the upper right of the screen. Fill in the petals of the flower to gain another level. You gain different amounts of experience for completing certain tasks for the first time. For example, you gain experience for fertilizing a sunflower to its maximum growth potential or becoming a master romancer for Crowlas.
Earn enough experience to get to level 11 for the first garden expansion. Use the additional property growth to romance higher level pinatas for even more experience, like the Parrybo and Cocoadile pinatas. Look for creative ways to tame Sour Pinatas for a large chunk of experience as well. For example, feeding a Sour Cocoadile a Swanana and a Sweetooth will tame it.
Gain sufficient experience for level 21, and you will be rewarded with the largest garden land increase available. With the full garden available to you, there shouldn't be any problems with larger pinatas such as the Elephanilla or Chippopotamus.
