As a widely known leader in outdoor sporting equipment and gear, Cabela's has a series of hunting and various sporting video games on various platforms. The game "Cabela's Alaskan Adventures" was released on the Xbox 360 in September 2006. This game puts players inside the action and involvement that comes with the outdoors of the extensive northwest state, providing a total sport experience.
  1. Badges

    • As you play the game, you will complete certain areas and potentially unlock certain badges based on performance. Gold, silver and bronze badges are worth 75, 50, 25 points, respectively. Each badge name reflects its specific region. To get the South Central Gold Badge, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Simulation difficulty. To obtain the South Central Silver Badge, complete all three Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Sportsman difficulty. To obtain the South Central Bronze Badge, complete the three Main Hunts and first Fishing Contest on Greenhorn difficulty. To achieve the Interior Alaska Gold Badge, complete the three Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Simulation difficulty. To receive the Interior Alaska Silver Badge, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Sportsman difficulty. To obtain the Interior Alaska Bronze Badge, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Greenhorn difficulty.

    Western Arctic and South Central Badges

    • Just like the previous regional badges, these rewards can be unlocked by achieving the respective areas of the game. To obtain the Western Arctic Gold Badge, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Simulation difficulty. To obtain the Silver Badge of this region, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Sportsman difficulty. To obtain the Bronze Badge, complete the three Main Hunts and first Fishing Contest on Greenhorn difficulty. For the South Central region, complete all Main Hunts and the first Fishing Contest on Simulation difficulty to receive the Gold Badge. Complete these tasks on Sportsman difficulty to receive the Silver Badge and on Greenhorn difficulty to receive the Bronze Badge.

    Master Awards

    • Different awards will be given to you for completing certain tasks. Each Master Award is worth different amounts, though. To win the Bow Master Award, worth 25 points, take at least 10 animals with a bow in Open Season. To win the Shotgun Master Award, worth 20 points, take at least 10 animals with a shotgun in Open Season. To achieve the Rifle Award, worth 20 points, take at least 10 animals with a rifle in Open Season. The Handgun Master Award is worth 25 points and is achieved by taking at least 10 animals with a handgun in Open Season.

    Specialty Awards

    • Certain awards will be given to you if you are able to capture specified types of animals throughout the game. These rewards are named after each animal, such as the Musk Ox, Lake Trout, Sockeye Salmon and Black Bear. Achieving these awards can be completed on any difficulty rating in Adventure mode.

    Medals

    • You will receive medals throughout the game if you are fortunate enough to complete all hunts and contests. Just like the badges, the medals are rewarded on the South Central, Interior Alaska, Western Arctic and South Central regions. The Platinum Medals are all worth 25 points.
