How to Transfer Pictures From a Flash Drive to an XBox 360

The Xbox 360 is natively capable of playing many different types of media files in addition to games designed for it and the previous Xbox system. If you have picture files stored on a flash drive, for example, you can transfer those pictures over to your Xbox 360's internal hard drive. That way you can always have access to the pictures wherever you have your console.

Instructions

  Insert the USB flash drive that contains the pictures you want to transfer into the USB input on your Xbox 360. Turn on your Xbox 360 (if it isn't currently on).

  Select "My Xbox."

  Choose "System Settings."

  Open "Memory." Highlight and select the icon for the USB flash drive that contains the pictures you want to transfer.

  Select "Pictures" from the menu. Highlight and select all of the individual picture files you want to transfer to your Xbox 360. Select "Copy." Select the icon for your Xbox 360 hard drive to copy the pictures from the flash drive to the Xbox 360 hard disk drive.
