How to Make an Offline Profile for GTA IV

Grand Theft Auto IV is a video game available on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The aim of the game is to carry out missions, working your way through the main storyline. While you need to be online to play the multiplayer options, you can create a gamer profile on your console to allow you to play through the main storyline and save your game.

Instructions

Xbox 360

  Turn on your Xbox 360 and wait for the dashboard to load up.

  Press the Xbox 360 logo in the center of your controller to load up the "Xbox Guide."

  Select the "Create Profile" option from the "Home" menu.

  Select the device you wish to save your profile on to.

  Enter a name for your profile. Press the "Start" button on your controller to confirm the name and create your profile.
PlayStation 3

  Turn on your PlayStation 3 and wait for the main dashboard to load up.

  Press the right direction on your controller and go to the "Users" option.

  Choose "Create New User" from the drop-down menu.

  Enter the screen name that you would like your profile to be called using the on-screen keyboard.

  Press the "OK" button to confirm your details and create the profile.
