Double Sentinels
Protector Sentinels are machines that attach to units, such as a solider or vehicle, and either recharge their host's energy, refill their health or fight attacking enemies. Under normal circumstances only one can attach to each unit. Put a protector on a Spartan, which is a super-solider, and another on a vehicle. Drive the vehicle with that Spartan, and you will have two protectors helping you at once.
Protecting Soldiers
If a special unit, such as the Prophet of Regret, is killed in action it can be an expensive loss. Give units like these extra protection. Make him stand in the position he spawned from, select the base and choose the "Lock" option. Giant claws will enclose around him so that he cannot be harmed. However, if an enemy manages to break through your defenses and locate your special unit, your prized asset will exit the claws to kill the attacker.
Achievements
Destroy each methane tank in Mission 2 for the "Endless Fun" achievement and five Gamerscore points. Receive a Gold Medal for your performance in one mission for the "Momma's Boy" achievement and five points. Finish a Co-op Mode Campaign mission for 10 points and "Backscratcher." Play the game for 24 hours, and you earn the "24 Hours of Quality" achievement. Win a Skirmish game every map to receive the "Gallivant around the Galaxy" achievement and 25 points.
Detour the Great Journey
This achievement, worth 50 points, is especially difficult as it requires you to complete the campaign mode and the Legendary difficulty setting. But is there is a trick to carrying out this task easily. Play through the game on the lowest difficulty and collect all of the skulls. These skulls can be used to upgrade your allies and downgrade your enemies. So use them on Legendary difficulty, and completing the campaign will be much easier.
