Instructions
Take down your sparring partner immediately at the beginning of the session by holding the left trigger and flicking the right stick toward him. This will cause your fighter to dive in on your partner's legs.
Stand up out of your partner's guard by pushing the left stick in. You will get to your feet while your partner is still on his back looking up at you. Use the left stick to move your fighter closer to your partner so you are standing directly over him before he can stand back up.
Lean down toward your partner by holding the left stick toward him. Throw punches at him by hitting the punch buttons. To punch to the body, hold in the left trigger while pushing the punch buttons.
Punch continuously to the head and body, whichever the sparring partner is not defending at the moment. Switch from the head to the body for several punches when he starts blocking his face and vice versa.
Take down the partner again if he stands back up and continue standing up and punching down on him. You are rewarded points based on how many strikes you land in comparison to how many he blocks and how many he lands on you. This method maximizes the amount of damage you inflict while minimizing his defense and counter-attacks since sparring partners are slow at getting back up or defending from that position.
