How to Win Mortal Kombat for Xbox 360

"Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" is a fighting game originally released in 1996 for the arcade, but re-released ten years later for the Xbox 360's virtual console. Since this is a fighting game, a player's success depends on his ability to eliminate the other computer-controlled characters in the game's story mode.

  Begin the game, and select the game's 1-player mode. Select your character in the character select screen to begin playing.

  Defeat the other characters in the Mortal Kombat roster. The order in which you fight the characters is randomly assigned, and the strategy for defeating these characters will vary depending on the character you have chosen. After defeating the character roster, you must fight Motaro, the game's sub-boss.

  Defeat Motaro to move on to the game''s final boss, Shao Kahn. The easiest and most general method for defeating Motaro revolves around jumping into the air over the beast to deliver a kick, delivering two high punches when on the ground, and repeating the process. Back away from Motaro when he is cornered, as he will likely fire a projectile when backed against the wall.

  Defeat Shao Kahn to win the game. The main strategy to use with Shao Kahn is to stay away from him and rely on your projectile attacks. If he uses his dash jump maneuver, try to duck and he will end up over your body, open to an uppercut.
