How to Set Up an XBox With Linksys Wireless-B

The latest model of the Xbox 360 comes with built-in wireless networking capabilities so you can connect the Xbox to your home wireless network without any additional Xbox accessories. You can connect the Xbox 360 directly to a wireless router such as the Linksys Wireless-B in order to access the Internet. Once the Xbox is connected, you an use the Xbox Live service for online multiplayer, game downloads, demos and services such as Netflix.

Wireless network name (SSID)
Wireless network password

  Turn on your Xbox 360 and go to the "My Xbox" menu section.

  Scroll right until you find "System Settings" and press "A."

  Choose "Network Settings" and press "A."

  Use your controller to scroll through the list of wireless networks in range of your Xbox 360 console. Select the network you want to connect to and press "A."

  Enter the password for your wireless network using the on screen keyboard. Select "Yes" if the console prompts you to update once you've connected to the network.
