Tips for Two Worlds on Xbox 360

"Two Worlds" is an action role-playing game released in 2007 by SouthPeak Interactive. It features a large, open-ended fantasy-themed world to explore, giving players a great deal of freedom to discover things at their own pace and complete quests in any order they choose. Employing several strategies and moves will improve your game experience and chances of success.
  1. Character Creation

    • When assigning skills to your character at the beginning of the game, do not choose the unseat skill if you're playing the single-player campaign. You won't encounter any mounted enemies. Also pass on the swimming skill because the single-player campaign offers few opportunities for swimming.

    Melee Combat

    • Melee deals a lot of damage and is effective at dispatching enemies, especially spellcasters, quickly. However, melee also leaves you vulnerable to being overwhelmed by large groups of enemies, so be prepared to evade or use melee only in combination with archery and spellcasting.

    Archery Combat

    • Use your bow to take out weaker enemies from afar before they have a chance to hit you. Archery is not effective in close-quarters combat because it deals low damage.

    Magic Combat

    • When used for long-range attacks, magic is more powerful than archery but slower. Use magic to summon monsters that distract the enemy so that you can pick them off.

    Speed

    • Jump while going up hills and mountains to climb them more quickly. Sheathe your weapon to run more quickly.

    Treasure Chests

    • Treasure chests hold random items, so save your game right before you open a chest. If the item isn't one you wanted, restore your game and try again until you get an item you want.

    Side Quests

    • Accept as many side quests as you can at a time because their goals often overlap. You might find an item needed to complete one quest while in the middle of another quest.

    Looting

    • Pick up as much equipment you can from defeated enemies. Even if you can't use the item yourself, you can sell it at the nearest town. Combine equipment of the same type to free up space in your inventory and create more powerful and valuable equipment. Combine elements and ingredients to create potions to free up space. Spells don't weigh anything, so always pick them up.

    Enemies

    • If ranged attackers keep running away from you, use the Chains spell to immobilize them. You cannot damage ghosts with physical attacks. You must use magic to kill them. You cannot damage skeletons by slashing or piercing weapons, so attack them with bludgeoning weapons or magic.

    Final Dungeon

    • Save your game before entering the final dungeon if you want to keep playing after you complete it. Unlike "The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion" and other open-ended games, you may not continue playing "Two Worlds" after defeating the final boss.
