Xbox 360 Cheats for Stubbs the Zombie

Released for the Xbox 360 in 2008 under Microsoft's "Xbox Originals" banner, "Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse" places players in control of Stubbs, a zombie with the ability to eat the brains of, as well as possess, his enemies. In accordance with the wry, witty style of the game itself, many of the game's cheats are tongue-in-cheek surprises meant to entertain fans.
  1. Secret Messages

    • Begin a new game and you will be prompted to enter a profile name. If you type ".fortune," a random, humorous message will appear. It's important to type the period symbol before spelling out "fortune," as just the word alone will not yield the same result. You can exit out of the profile name screen, then return and retype the code for a new message each time. This code is an inside reference to the Linux/Unix computer operating system.

    Hidden Sequences

    • There are two points in the main story where you can trigger hidden video sequences. The first is on the farm level -- head to the first big barn with three stories. Kill all the enemies inside, using the ability to drop from the top floor to the ground without dying to your advantage. After you've defeated everyone, a door with an American flag will appear. Enter this door to trigger video of a mock patriotic rally. Additionally, by scoring a "perfect" rating in every round of the dance battle against "Chief Master," you will unlock a secret video involving a flying limo.

    Pass Through Walls

    • Approach any enemy standing near a wall, fence or barrier from behind and eat his brains. If he's facing the wall and at a close enough distance, he will fall forward and disappear completely. If you're slightly further away from the wall, only his upper torso will disappear, leaving his legs behind. Once he's been turned into a zombie and stands back up, he will reappear in front of the wall where you originally attacked.

    Humorous Extras

    • One of the most prominent humorous surprises can be found by selecting "Insane mode" as your difficulty and collecting the hidden hippo heads that appear in each level. Every time you collect a new hippo head, you will hear a commentary track about the game from its developers. Additionally, playing on any difficulty, if you're able to kill enemies so that they fall on the edge of a cliff or roof, whatever part of their bodies is hanging over the ledge will begin stretching down toward the ground.
