How to Get Black Dye in Fable 3

"Fable III" has many ways to customize gameplay, including the color of your character's clothing. While many colors are included, there are also several dyes missing, including the fabled black dye. After the game's release, Microsoft released a piece of downloadable content that allows players to add many dyes to their game, including black dye, for 80 Microsoft points, Xbox Live's form of currency.

  Purchase at least 80 Microsoft Points on your Xbox Live-enabled console. 1600 points usually retails for $53.99, but card versions of the currency can be bought, usually for a cheaper price, from retailers, such as GameStop or Amazon.

  Navigate to the "Game Marketplace" on Xbox Live. All additional content for games can be found in this section of the site.

  Navigate to "Fable III" from the "All Games" menu. Any additional content should be found in this menu, including "Fable III Dye Pack."

  Click on the "Fable III Dye Pack" to display additional information on the item. The description should detail the exact colors found in the pack, including the black dye.

  Click "Purchase" to download the pack to your console. The pack will automatically be installed onto your console and will be available the next time you play "Fable III"
