Many versions of the Xbox 360 console include a removable hard drive. The hard drive is used to store all of your game settings and information, including hard-earned achievements and high-scores. The hard drive also stores media files such as pictures, music and videos. If you have purchased a new Xbox 360 console, you may wish to transfer the contents of your old hard drive to the new hard drive rather than losing your scores. Fortunately, Microsoft offers a transfer cable that plugs your old hard drive into your new Xbox 360 console and automatically transfers your data to the new hard drive.
