How to Turn on & Off a DLC on an Xbox 360

The Xbox 360, like other modern gaming consoles, offers downloadable content (DLC) for your existing games. Downloadable content can be purchased through your Xbox 360. It includes features such as new single player levels, new characters and additional maps for multi-player games. Once downloaded, DLC is automatically installed. Once you have downloaded them, they will always be available to play on. You can uninstall DLC from your system to get rid of it. To re-enable DLC, simply re-install it.

Instructions

  1. Deleting DLC

      Navigate to the "My Xbox" tab on the Xbox 360 main menu.

      Select "System Settings."

      Select "Memory."

      Select "Hard Drive."

      Select "Games."

      Select the game and the DLC you want to delete, then select "Delete."

    Re-installing DLC

      Press the silver "Guide" button on the front of your Xbox 360 controller.

      Select the "Settings" tab.

      Select "Account Management."

      Select "Download History."

      Select the game and the DLC you want to re-download.
