How to Make Halo Reach Load Faster

"Halo: Reach" is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie for Microsoft's Xbox 360 gaming console. Although "Halo: Reach" can be played solely from the game disc, the game is optimized to run directly from the Xbox 360 hard drive. As a result, installing "Halo: Reach" onto your Xbox 360 will significantly reduce load times throughout the game.

Instructions

  Turn on your Xbox 360 console and insert the "Halo: Reach" game disc into the disc drive.

  Load the Dashboard and navigate to "My Xbox."

  Highlight the "Play Halo: Reach" tile. Select "Game Details" by pressing the "Y" button on the Xbox 360 controller.

  Select "Install Game" from the list of options and press the "A" button to begin the installation process. This may take several minutes. Once complete, press the "A" button to return to the "Game Details" screen.

  Select "Play Game" from the list of options. The Xbox 360 will automatically run "Halo: Reach" from the hard drive.
