How to Kill a Strafing Guy in Halo 3

In "Halo 3," the third installment of an Xbox 360-exclusive science-fiction video game series, you can fight against aliens or take your game to online multiplayer. One method online players use to avoid falling in battle is strafing constantly, meaning they frequently run left and right and jump around, making them a difficult target. When you come across a strafing guy in "Halo 3," you must use your arsenal to your advantage.

Instructions

  Strafe. The longer you stay alive, the longer amount of time you have to defeat the strafing guy you come across. Press "A" frequently to jump as well.

  Press "LB" to switch to sticky grenades if you have any. While any type of grenade will help, sticky grenades will remain stuck to an enemy when it hits them. Once the grenade sticks, it is impossible to remove it; once it explodes, the enemy will die.

  Press "Down" on the left analog stick to move away from the strafing enemy. When stuck with a sticky grenade, many online players rush toward their attacker in an effort to take them down as well. If you are prepared for this and begin running backward, he will never catch up to you.
