How to Find All Skulls on Halo3

Hidden challenges and easter eggs in video games were introduced to add fun and difficulty for gamers that have completed the game but are looking for a new goal as they replay it. In Halo 3 secret skulls are hidden throughout the levels in the game in order to unlock bonuses and earn Xbox 360 Achievements. The skulls locations range from simply looking around a corner that you would not have to in order to beat the game to complex sequences of jumps which make a skull appear where there previously was not one.

Instructions

  Explore all maps thoroughly as you progress through the game. Simply taking the most direct route to the goal will prevent you from finding skulls.

  Climb onto any pipes that are accessible, as many skulls are located at the end of long pipe structures.

  Access any narrow ledges or walkways outside of the paths directing you to your goal, as some skulls are hidden across small ledges.

  Practice getting maximum distance on jumps by taking off just before a ledge as some skulls require you to make a long jump while sprinting.

  Pass through the ring holograms in the correct order on "The Covenant" to unlock the "I Would Have Been Your Dad" achievement skull on the bridge of that level. The order required is the 4th ring, 6th ring, 5th ring, 4th ring, 5th ring, 3rd ring and 4th ring. The rings generate tones that recreate the halo theme.
