How to Make Your Own Car Mods in Forza Motorsport

The ways you can mod your cars in the Xbox exclusive "Forza Motorsport" series is limited only by your racing skill and imagination. Your cars can be modified either mechanically to improve the vehicle's performance or aesthetically to catch the eyes of other racers as you zoom past them. Changing the appearance of your ride takes time and effort to personalize a unique paintjob, while developing your car's abilities requires you to win races to earn credits. After all, quality engine blocks and intake valves aren't free.

  Change the car's external colors from the "Paint Car" option. From this menu you can paint individual parts such as the hood or rims, create and apply custom decals, and tint the car's windows. Players can create amazing car decals using the Forza painting options.

  Modify the minute details of your favorite cars from the "Tune Car" section. Some of the many details you can alter include tire pressure, brake alignment and level of streamlined downforce the car has. These selections change how your car reacts to the road, weather and other factors during a race.

  Improve your car from the "Buy Upgrades" menu. Many car parts and accessories can be installed into a car from this section to raise the rating of its speed, acceleration, braking, handling and rarity. The four subsections of car parts you can browse through are "Engine and Power," "Platform and Handling," "Tires and Rims" and "Body and Aero."
