How to Get the Spiderman 3 Pole Swinger Achievement

"Spiderman 3" features more than 40 achievements, and although you don't need to unlock them to beat the game, these achievements do give you bragging rights. They range from beating boss enemies to moving across the city in particular ways. To get the Pole Swinger award, you must swing on 50 lampposts. You don't have to do them all at once; you can space these swings over the course of the game. Once you complete the task, the achievement will automatically unlock.

Instructions

- 1
  Stand beneath a lamppost. You can find them throughout the city. If you're feeling particularly ambitious, you can even use the lampposts outside of the tutorial building, unlocking this achievement before the main quest even starts.

  Jump. At the top of your arc, press the "Grab" button. Spiderman will grab the lamppost and start swinging around it.

  Press the "Jump" button to swing off of the lamppost. Depending on his angle, Spiderman will go left, right or straight up. By going left or right, you can grab other nearby lampposts. By going straight up, he'll come straight back down over the current lamppost. Grab it again to do another pole swing.

  Perform 50 pole swings to unlock the Pole Swinger achievement.
