Open the console to connect it to your computer. Remove any power cables from the rear of the system, then remove the faceplate from the front of the console. Unclasp the outer case (it is clipped on the metal interior of the console), then remove it. Unscrew the Torx screws on the metal interior case, then slide it open. Disconnect the SATA cable from the Xbox motherboard to the DVD drive, then connect your SATA cable from the Xbox motherboard to the computer. Turn on your computer.
Download the JungleFlasher firmware modification program, then run it. In the main menu, select your Xbox console and click "Advanced Options." Select "Restore Original Firmware," then click "OK." The program will restore the original BIN firmware to the Xbox and return it to factory default software. Close JungleFlasher and shut down the computer when the restoring process completes.
Disconnect the SATA cable from the computer to the Xbox. Reconnect the SATA cable from the Xbox to the DVD drive, then close the metal case. Replace the Torx screws, then reconnect the plastic casing. Replace the front faceplate. Reconnect the power cables and other accessories from the Xbox before turning it on again.
