Tutorial on an Xbox Softmod

The term "softmod" or software modification refers to any method that alters the standard use of the Xbox 360 gaming console without the use of a modification chip or mod chip. A software modification involves running software to trick the Xbox into using unsigned software code that allows it to run alternate dashboards and games. Although the process of software modification can become complex, a softmod of the Xbox is a fairly straightforward one.
