How to Create a 360 Headset

The headset for your Microsoft Xbox 360 will not work unless you create a wireless connection between the headset and the gaming system. This process is similar to the one you must complete to create a connection between the Xbox 360 and its wireless video game controllers. You can create this connection by pressing a few buttons.

Instructions

  Charge your Xbox 360 headset's battery. Headsets designed specifically for the Xbox 360 come with a USB charging cable that plugs into the bottom of the headset and into one of the USB ports on your console.

  Turn on your Xbox 360. Turn on your Xbox 360 headset.

  Press the "Connect" button located on the front of your console's case.

  Press and hold the "Connect" button on the side of your Xbox 360 headset that is located closest to your face while you're wearing it. This will create a connection between your headset and your console, pairing the two devices together.
