How to Connect an XBox HDMI Cable

Connect the Xbox 360 to an HDTV to make the most out of your entertainment experience. Most new Xbox 360 gaming consoles come packaged with a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable. The HDMI cable allows you to connect your Xbox 360 to an HDTV or monitor for high-definition game play. You can locate the HDMI port on the back panel of your 360 and on the side, back or front panels of your HDTV or monitor.

     Plug the connector of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of the console.

     Plug the other end of the cable into the HDMI port on your HDTV or monitor.

     Turn on your Xbox 360.

     Power on your HDTV or monitor. The Xbox 360 Dashboard loads to the screen.
