How to Use the Rock Band Mod on an Xbox 360 Normal Controller

When playing "Rock Band" on the Xbox 360, you typically use a guitar controller, which can cost nearly an extra $100 dollars. This can seem like a lot of extra money for a controller you are only going to use with one game. Although you do lose some of the authentic feel of playing "Rock Band," you can use a normal Xbox 360 controller on a "Rock Band" mod game.

Instructions

      Connect the Xbox 360 standard controller to the video game system.

      Insert the "Rock Band" video game, and wait for the software to load onto the television screen.

      Press "Start," and select the "Controller" setup under Options.

      Choose the normal Xbox 360 controller as the control option, and select "Apply" to configure your controller to the gaming mod and allow you to use the equipment.
