How to Download Songs for Rockband 2 on Xbox

Debuting in November 2007, Rock Band quickly became a popular video game. The sequel, Rock Band 2, contains many of the well-loved features as well as additional upgrades. Some of these upgrades include, "World Tour" and "Drum Trainer." These features allow you to play at new venues and help improve your drumming skills. Downloading songs for Rockband 2 is quick and easy. Please note, you must have points on your Xbox LIVE account before you can download songs.

Instructions

Downloading Rockband 2 Songs

  Connect your Xbox to the Internet.

  Place the Rockband 2 game inside the Xbox.

  Turn the Xbox on.

  Choose "Get more songs."

  Choose "Rock band music store."

  Review the various songs in the music store. Once you've located a song you wish to download, choose "Purchase."

  Choose "Confirm Purchase." The songs will begin to download.
Purchasing Microsoft Points

  Navigate to the Xbox account web page. Using your Windows live ID, sign into your Xbox account.

  Choose "Manage payment options."

  Choose "Add a new credit card."

  Follow the directions to add your payment information. Once the points are purchased, the credit will automatically be applied to your Xbox LIVE account.
