How to Put Halo 3 Screenshots on My PC

Microsoft lets you copy screens from Halo 3 and upload them to your Xbox Live account. You can view these images later from your Xbox, but transferring them to your computer allows you to do far more with them. You can email, print, edit or post them. You can insert them into a movie or use them as desktop backgrounds. To do this, access your Xbox Live account using a third party -- Bungie.net.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to Halo 3's main menu on your Xbox.

    • 2

      Select "Theater."

    • 3

Select "Start" to bring up a new menu.

    • 4

Select "File Share." A menu opens with a number of open slots for images.

    • 5

Select one of the open slots. A new menu opens, asking "What Do You Want to Share?"

    • 6

Select "Screenshot." Your saved screenshots will appear on the screen.

    • 7

Select the shot you want to move to your PC, and it uploads to your Xbox Live account.

    • 8

Navigate to Bungie.net on your computer.

    • 9

Log in to your Xbox Live account using the "Sign in" link in the screen's top-right corner.

    • 10

Accept the Bungie terms of agreement.
