How to Earn All Armor on Halo 3 for Spartans

Helmets

  Unlock the EVA helmet by completing campaign mode on normal, heroic or legendary. See the Resources section for tips on finishing campaign mode.

  Complete the campaign on legendary to unlock the Spartan EOD helmet.

  Earn the Hayabusa helmet from Dead or Alive 4 by collecting all 14 skulls in campaign mode. See the resources section for the location of all skulls.

  Achieve at least a 1,000 Gamerscore in Halo 3 to unlock the Security helmet.

  Destroy a vehicle occupied by three enemies in a ranked online playlist to earn the "Used Car Salesman" Achievement for the Scout helmet. Plasma grenades or the Spartan Laser will do the trick.

  Complete the "Graduate" achievement by earning 5 EXP points in online multiplayer to receive an ODST helmet. Finishing 10 online games will accomplish this.

• 7

  Earn the sergeant rank in online multiplayer to receive the "UNSC Spartan" achievement and unlock the Mark V helmet. Playing the "Lone Wolves" playlist until you earn 20 EXP points will suffice.

  Get promoted to the rank of officer in multiplayer mode to earn the "Spartan Officer" achievement and unlock the Rogue helmet. Aim for "Double EXP" weekend playlists to quickly earn the 70 EXP required.

Shoulder Armor

• 9

  Finish the campaign mission "The Ark" on normal, heroic or legendary to unlock the EVA shoulder armor piece.

  Beat "The Ark" on legendary to earn the EOD shoulder armor.

  Find nine of the skulls in campaign mode to unlock the Hayabusa should armor.

  Get at least a 750 Gamerscore in Halo 3 to unlock the Security shoulder piece.

  Complete the "Mongoose Mowdown" achievement by splattering an enemy with the mongoose in a ranked free-for-all playlist to earn the Scout shoulder armor.

Chest Armor

• 14

  Finish Tsavo Highway on any difficulty except easy to unlock the EVA chest armor.

• 15

  Collect five skulls to receive the Hayabusa chest piece.

• 16

  Get 1,000 out of 1,000 Gamerscore points to unlock the Katana add-on.

• 17

  Complete "Tsavo Highway" on legendary difficulty to earn the EOD chest piece for your Spartan.

• 18

  Get the "Too Close to the Sun" achievement by destroying an enemy banshee with the Spartan Laser or missile pod in a ranked playlist or in campaign to unlock the final piece to the Spartan armor collection -- the Scout chest piece.
