XBox Rock Band Singer Instructions

"Rock Band" is a music simulation game that was released for the XBox 360, along with other video game consoles. You can take the reins as the lead guitarist, bass guitarist, drummer or lead singer. As the lead singer, you're responsible for the lyrics of the selected song, but you have to do more than just sing the lyrics: You have to sing them in the correct pitch. If you fail to do so, the audience will kick you off the stage. As long as you have a microphone, you can rock out as the lead singer.

Instructions

  Turn on your XBox 360. Plug in the provided Microsoft microphone that plugs into your controller. Alternatively, plug in a USB-activated microphone.

  Insert the "Rock Band" disc. The game will automatically begin.

  Highlight "Training" and press "A." Click "Practice."

  Choose a song from the available song list. Select "Easy" as the difficulty setting to start out. Start the song.

  Sing the words that scroll across the bottom of the screen as they pass the vertical bar near the pitch indicator arrow. The pitch indicator arrow indicates the pitch at which you are singing. Each word that scrolls across the bottom is associated with a certain pitch. The pitch of each word is indicated by a bar above each word. For example, if the bar above the word is high, then you need to sing that word in a high pitch. After you get used to the practice mode, you can begin singing in the other game modes.
