Why Won't My Xbox Let Me Remove My Credit Card Information?

The Xbox 360 allows you to add credit cards to your account's profile but does not allow you to remove that information. This can be a nuisance if you want to delete your information for security reasons or if you want to have Xbox LIVE stop charging a card. Microsoft instead requires you to hop on your computer to manage all of your account information on Xbox's official website.

     Go to Xbox's website (see Resources).

     Click "Sign in" at the top right of the website.

     Enter your log-in e-mail and password.

     Visit your account setup page (see Resources).

   • 5

     Select "Edit Payment Options" under "Account Information."

   • 6

     Click "Remove" next to the credit card you want to remove.

   • 7

     Click "Yes" to confirm removal.
