How to Set Up a Wireless Rock Band Drum Set

"Rock Band" is a video game available on multiple platforms, including Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, as well as Playstation 2 and Nintendo's Wii. Setting up your "Rock Band" wireless drum kit will only take a few minutes and should sync with your console nearly immediately when done properly. "Rock Band's" wireless drum set kit only requires batteries to connect with your console.

  Assemble your wireless kit as your official "Rock Band" guide instructs. Insert the appropriate batteries into the drum set before attempting to synchronize or connect the device, as they are required to run the controller.

  Locate the center button on your wireless drum set. Press and hold the button for a few seconds, and allow the lights on your controller to blink and turn on.

  Find and press the circular button located underneath your Xbox 360's disc tray on your console. Pressing the circular button on your Xbox 360 begins the syncing process so you can connect any other wireless devices available in your area.

  Select the "Sync" button on your wireless drum set controller. Be sure to press these buttons nearly simultaneously to get the best and quickest result when attempting to synchronize your device. Once the synchronizing is complete, your drum controller's light will stay on permanently, and you will be able to use the wireless drum set as a regular controller on your Xbox 360.
